Introduction

📍 Freetown, March 2025 – Serving with LivingSeeds Training & Business Schools

How do you begin to put into words something that changes your soul? How do you share stories that are not fully yours—but ones you’ve been trusted to witness?

I recently returned from a mission trip to Sierra Leone, where I had the honor of working alongside Nick and Kitty Marsh, Founders of LivingSeeds Training and Business Schools. Our focus: to teach, train, and minister to young people using the Free to Rise Up Training Manual—offering healing, hope, and identity through the love of Christ.

We taught on:

  • The Cross
  • The Father’s Love
  • Forgiveness
  • The Spirit of Sonship
  • Generational and Word Curses
  • Ungodly Beliefs
  • Shame, Trauma, Jealousy, and more

Most of our students were deeply impacted, having faced extreme poverty, abandonment, occult involvement, and abuse. Many had never been told they were seen—let alone loved.

And yet… we saw freedom. We heard freedom. We cried freedom.

One day, after teaching on forgiveness, we watched as names—names of those who had inflicted deep wounds—were nailed to a wooden cross in front of the room. What followed was a cry that I will never forget. A soul-level cry for healing, restoration, and release. The sound became the anthem of the week.

Despite the brokenness, I saw beauty. Despite the pain, I saw purpose. Despite the poverty, I saw profound joy and community.

The students worshipped daily, served each other without complaint, and lived with radical generosity—even when all they had was a wooden table to sleep on.

I came home different. Still processing. Still praying. Still undone. But also deeply inspired to rise up again—with a heart full of gratitude and a new resolve to continue saying “yes” to God’s call.

🙏 To Those Who Supported Me

Every prayer, every dollar, every encouraging message carried me through. Thank you—1000x thank you. You were part of every story, every breakthrough, every healing.

đź’ˇ How You Can Continue to Support LivingSeeds

Pray. Always. And if your heart is stirred to give, Nick and Kitty are in the process of registering a UK charity to support the expansion of their school. Their vision? A new facility in Waterloo, Sierra Leone, that will house 1,000 students, offering sustainable vocational and spiritual training.

📷 I’ll be sharing a visual recap in the coming days. Stay tuned. 💬 I’d love to hear how stories of international service have shaped your perspective too—drop a comment or DM me.
